We are looking for new members to help develop Personalism and to add comments and contributions to our journal Appraisal and to our blog. It costs nothing to join and you become part of our personalist community.

The benefits of being a member

Supporters can submit articles for publication in our journal Appraisal and also post comments on articles that have already been published. See the Appraisal section of our website. Members can also add comments or less academic articles to Simon's Blog; see contact details on the blog.

Joining as a member

To join as a member fill in the form below. As a member you agree to our rules of membership including having an ethical approach to other members. We would like to be able to keep in touch with you by email and contact you with information about The British Personalist Forum and Personalism, including events or other things that we think might be of interest to you. If you would like us to keep in contact with you in this way, please check the relevant boxes on the form. We depend on donations to fund our journal Appraisal and to provide open access along with free publishing. We strongly believe that access and contributions to knowledge that benefits both the individual and the community should be free. Donations will also help to fund this website as well as other activities to promote Personalism. Any donation, large or small will help.

Rules of membership of The British Personalist Forum

  1. Membership is granted by the decision of the committee of the British Personalist Forum
  2. Members agree to promote and advance the ideas of Personalism
  3. Members agree to respect their fellow members and behave in an ethical way towards each other and towards members of the committee.
  4. Members agree that the publication of any contribution or comment in Appraisal or on our blog will be at the sole discretion of the editor.
  5. Members may terminate their membership at any time by contacting us.
  6. The committee has the right to terminate membership for breach of any of the membership rules and for any other reason the committee sees fit. An appeal of the decision can be lodged with the committee within four weeks of the decision.
